UPDATE

Hello all-

I have some good news and some bads. The good news...

and now the bad news...

Due to weather and permit problems, the foundation will not be ready by this weekend. This means that I won't be able to start framing the shop this weekend.

I am still having the materials delivered on Friday in the a.m., so if you have some time off of work feel free to join me in moving the lumber from the front of the house to the shop site.

Thanks for anyone who was planning on helping out. I will send out the next weekends tasks on Monday.

================================================

This is the first in a long series of begging emails.

The foundation for my workshop will be done by December 3rd. That weekend I am going to have the first shipment of materials delivered. I am asking for anyone interested and willing to help out with:

  1. Moving Materials
  2. Framing Walls
  3. Erecting Walls
  4. Sheathing Walls
  5. Making food runs
  6. Poking fun at how ridiculous I look in steel-toed boots.

Let me know if you will be able to help out. The more people that make it, the more that will be completed. Even if it's for a little while, or if you are the "all-thumbs" variety, there will be plenty to do.

What to Bring... (if you have any that is)

  1. Wear clothes and shoes that you won't mind getting dirty.
  2. A pair of work gloves
  3. A hammer
  4. A sense of humor

Friday: 9am - Dusk
Saturday: 9am - Dusk
Sunday: 12pm - Dusk

If it is raining, just give me a call and I'll let you know if I'm still working.

I'm truly thankful for any help you can give.
